FULL TIME/PART
TIME EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
* Must have a
current valid driver's license and be able to obtain a Colorado
driver's license
* Must have a current Colorado EMT-Basic certification or
higher
* Must have a current Colorado Fire Fighter I certification
or higher
* Must have a current Colorado Haz-Mat Awareness
certification or higher
* Must obtain Colorado Fire Fighter II certification within
one year of employment
* Must obtain Colorado Haz-Mat Operations certification
within one year of employment
* Must obtain a Colorado recognized EMT-B IV authorization
within one year of employment
* Must obtain a NWCG approved S130/190 Wildland Fire
Firefighter within one year of employment
* Previous paid or volunteer experience is preferred
VOLUNTEER/RESERVE
- LATERAL ENTRY *
Must have a current valid driver's license and be able to obtain a
Colorado driver's license
* Must have a current Colorado Fire Fighter I certification
or higher
* Must have a current Colorado Haz-Mat Awareness
certification or higher
* Must complete a Lateral Entry Fire Fighter Academy (1-3
months as determined by the Training Chief)
* Colorado EMT-Basic certification or higher is preferred
* Previous paid or volunteer experience is preferred
VOLUNTEER/RESERVE
- RECRUIT ENTRY *
Must have a current valid driver's license and be able to obtain a
Colorado driver's license
* Must complete a Recruit Entry Fire Fighter Academy
(6-9 months as determined by the Training Chief)
* Colorado EMT-Basic certification or higher is preferred
* Previous paid or volunteer experience is preferred
