PERSONNEL

The Cimarron Hills Fire Department currently staffs 12 full-time career members on three rotating shifts, protecting the community 24 hours a day, every day of the year. CHFD also employs over 15 reserve members who supplement staffing by each working a minimum of three 12-hour shifts every month. For large incidents, CHFD works with the surrounding agencies through mutual aid agreements for the needed personnel to safely mitigate the incident.

The members of CHFD come from a variety of backgrounds and experience, including service with agencies such as the Colorado Springs Fire Department, Colorado Springs Police Department, Poudre Fire Authority, El Paso County Search & Rescue, Falcon Fire Department, Peyton Fire Department, Pueblo City Fire Department, Lake Dillon Fire Department, and the U.S. Military.
