STATION AND APPARATUS
The Cimarron Hills Fire Department operates out of a single station located at 1885 Peterson Road. The station was originally built in 1974 when there was nothing but grass land to the north and Peterson Road was a dead-end. Since then the CHFD has been surrounded by growth and Peterson Road is a major thoroughfare. In 2001, a headquarters building was purchased and the administration moved out of the station and the kitchen was remodelled. A small addition was added in 2003 or 2004 to upgrade sleeping quarters. Another minor remodel was completed in 2008 to accomodate a weight and fitness room.
