PUBLIC EDUCATION
CHFD strives to provide quality public education to our six local schools ranging from K-12, in addition to multiple pre-schools, Boy and Girl Scout troops, and day cares facilities. We have adopted the NFPA's Risk Watch program, which is an injury prevention program for children in preschool through the eighth grade. It is designed to help children and families create safer homes and communities by teaching them the skills and knowledge they need to make positive choices about their personal safety and well-being. Risk Watch seeks to prevent the major unintentional injuries that threaten children in this age group.
CHFD can also provide public education and safety courses to businesses within the District. Classes that we offered in the past include use of fire extinguishers, using MSDS sheets, etc.
