Division Chief Smith is assigned to Operations and oversees the Apparatus & Equipment, Safety & Wellness, and EMS programs. Scott is a 3rd generation firefighter with over 37 years in the fire service. He started his career at age 16 as a volunteer firefighter in Pennsylvania, joining the Cimarron Hills Fire Department in 2016 and promoting to Division Chief in 2023. He is a certified Fire Officer III, Fire Instructor, and Inspector. Chief Smith also serves as the Department Fire Investigator, responding to structure fires and other fires of suspicious origin.
